Most people come to our site because they've seen or heard of the innovative smart fortwo car. Many people first spotted these adorable cars in Europe or Asia, and have just recently begun to see them on the streets of cities and towns in the United States.

If you're like a lot of my visitors, then you may have Googled "smart cars" or micro car or something along those lines and that brought you to this page. It doesn't matter to me... the important thing is that now that you're here, I have tons of smart car info to share with you!

By the way... my name is Jim McCue, and this is the website I built around my passion for the smart fortwo car. I fell in love with the smart fortwo during the fall of 2007 when I saw one zip past me in my hometown of Boise, Idaho. I was so fascinated and intrigued with the little car, I began researching to learn all I could about it.

Smart car info was hard to find, though...

At that time, there really wasn't a whole lot of info available on the Web about the upcoming American version of the smart. The manufacturers website was the main source, and it left a lot to be desired. So it seemed a great opportunity both to share my passion for this environmentally-friendly smart car, as well as to share all the info I did manage to dig up. I knew I wasn't going to be the only one searching for smart car information.

There really was a need there was for a well-organized site to help potential enthusiasts gather meaningful information to use in determining if the smart fortwo car is right for them. So, I decided to create this site to help you learn about the smart fortwo and provide guidance during the decision-making process.

The site started out as a decision-making guide (hence the name), but after a couple of years, has evolved into something more comprehensive. There's a lot more of us American smart owners out here now, so the site is starting to make room for more interactivity and participation. I hope you enjoy it...
