Looking for smart car parts or a smart car service manual? Find what you need to do a smart car repair...
Unless you're a car mechanic... or at least a tinkerer... if it comes to the point that your smart fortwo car needs to be fixed, after a breakdown or an accident, then it's going to be important to use the right parts to do so. smartUSA encourages you to use only "genuine smart parts".
So... you might be wondering... where do I find these genuine smart car parts for my smart car repair? Luckily, I have the answer for you!
Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, you can find just about anything you need online, if you don't have a local supplier. Here are a few of the sites I found for you...
Please be careful in any Internet purchases. Although we only sites here which appear to be reliable and which have gotten good reviews elsewhere, it is ultimately your responsibility to make sure you spend your money wisely.
SmartMadness.com— This well-established site offers parts for both European and American smart fortwo cars. They have quite a wide range of accessories, internal parts, body kits, interior/exterior/performance upgrade stuff, wheels, gear, and audio components... plus lots more. One item I'm strongly considering are the armrests... I really miss having that feature when I'm driving for more than a few minutes at a time.
SmartCarParts.us— This is another supplier of parts and accessories for both the American smart fortwos, as well as those from across the pond. When you go to their website, it's basically and entry page for their eBay store. They don't have a huge inventory, but they do offer a lot of basic tools, supplies and parts for routine smart car maintenance, including oil changes.
GreenCarClinic.com— They offer a variety of European and American smart car parts and even BRABUS upgrade parts and accessories. You can also buy a cruise control kit for your smart car there! If you happen to live near them, in Bellevue, WA, they also offer a full-service auto shop, which has a "green car club" for multiple oil changes, etc.
One other alternative... SmartieParts.com, out of Canada, offers an after-market cruise control (plus some related items) for the smart car, though not much else.
If you're doing the work yourself or working with a mechanic not already well-versed in smart car repair, then you'll need to access the smart car service manual. The smartUSA website offers a subscription service for service professionals. For a small fee ($7.95/day or $20/week), you can access the smart car online service manual there.
If you don't like any of the options listed above, you might find other smart car parts suppliers by Googling them, using the box below.
