The smart car reviews you'll find at this stage will help you really get a handle on what other people think about the smart car performance and features.

Well Smart Car Seekers,

We have completed our smart car info gathering stages of our discovery journey and are now ready, in Stage 2, to really size up the Smart by taking a look at some smart fortwo reviews to see what others have to say about this great little car.

Take your time evaluating each smart fortwo review given here. Use this stage to form your own opinion about the smart car. Ask yourself questions such as... What features do I like and dislike about the smart? Is smart car performance going to meet my driving needs?

To help you during your evaluation of the smart car, please keep a collection of "points of interest" from each smart car review on paper to assist you in seeing trends you like and dislike about the fortwo.

A) Text Reviews:

Text, or written, reviews can be a great way to learn about the smart car because they're generally detailed and you can also print them out and refer to them over and over, as you work on figuring out if the smart is right for you.

So, I spent a few hours looking for the best written smart for two reviews I could find. And I have some winners... of course, I offer my own opinion, but I've also assembled smart fortwo reviews dealing with smart car performance and more from places like Edmunds.com, Motorweek, Car & Driver, and About.com's Car Guide.

Here's one text review excerpt: "Overall, this smart car review liked many of the smart car engineering and design features, but was not favorable about smart car performance, AKA the transmission."

B) smart Car Video Reviews:

Words are great, but pictures can be even better, especially when it comes to understanding what the smart fortwo is really like. You almost feel like you're taking a test drive yourself when you watch the smart car video reviews, which can be helpful if you don't have any local smart car dealerships you can visit (like me).

Here's a sample of one of the smart car reviews I've found to help you evaluate the smart fortwo car:

Cars.com smart Car Review (3:03)

Kelsey Mays gives a good demonstration on the smart car. He starts off showing how to take down the convertible on the cabriolet model. Next he sits inside the fortwo and shows how much head and leg room there is.

He also shows how the passenger seat folds down to give additional storage. Kelsey does a great job of discussing and showing how to perform manual shifting using the automated manual transmission in this smart car video. He wraps up the review by discussing some general points about the fortwo.

C) Owner Reviews:
