I don't know about you, but whenever I'm trying to make a buying decision on something, I love to read reviews of the product or service to see what other people have experienced. It's a great way to fend off making a dumb buying decision that is driven more by your passion and infatuation with something, than by the facts.

So, when I first started falling in love with the smart car and started this website, I went in search of valid reviews. At that point in time, most of the reviews I found were from expert sources like Edmunds or Car and Driver magazine. There weren't that many smart car consumer reviews for the American smart car yet, because smart fortwos hadn't actually arrived here yet. There were a few imported smarts, but I wanted to know specifically about the U.S. version.

So, when the site was young, I included mostly those expert reviews... and my own. But now that the site has matured and smart cars are becoming more and more common here in the States, I thought it would be great to start collecting smart car reviews from my readers. After all, who knows the smart better than the people who've been driving them for months (or years), right? Smart car buyers are really the experts!
